Feeling a larger calling to the good stewardship of nonprofits, especially Catholic churches and schools, Laurie began her career in accounting in 1983. She has an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Rhode Island, her MBA Accounting degree from Tulane University, and is a licensed CPA, as well as a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives. As a former long-time CFO, she specializes in the big picture, providing accurate and correct information for informed decisions. This includes operational Profit & Loss management, financial reporting and forecasting, budgeting, revenue cycle and general ledger management, and fractional executive leadership. Having grown up in East Providence RI, she started in public accounting, inspired by her father. Laurie spent many years living in Louisiana and now Austin, TX raising her two wonderful children. Her home is a hub for entertaining as well as the neighborhood kids who love her cooking and her beautiful golden retriever, Abby.
Beth loves to watch people and businesses blossom with her guidance; seeing people proud of their organization so they can lead a successful life for themselves and communities. She watched her father – a cutlery factory manager – mentor his employees and learned from him that people will bring a lot more to their jobs when they enjoy their team and working environment. Working in the field since 1980 and with her bachelor’s degree in accounting as well as a certificate in computer applications from Bryant University, she spent decades doing accounting in the construction industry and was later a CFO for an ASL interpreting agency. She specializes in the big picture, points of efficiency, payroll, benefits, and new technology to help growth. Originally from Rhode Island, Beth now lives in a beautiful home in Myrtle Beach, SC with her mother and a sweet black cat named Stella. She can often be found watching all kinds of sports or spending time with her two awesome daughters and their partners.
